just out of curiosity, how many kioti owners are on this bb? if you are a kioti owner please respond with what type of kioti you have and on a scale of 1-10 how you like your kioti. i thought it would be interesting to here from you all since i see that this section of the tbn gets alot of views but little posts. thanks

hello, i have tried to get more posts on this part of the board, i hope this will start it off. I have a 98 lk3054 set up for forestry by payeur in canada. on a scale i would rank it an 8, only its compact operators platform is a drawback. I must be careful getting on and of so that my boots dont catch anything. i also have a metavic loader/trailer, and both pieces in combination are perfect for my logging and sawmill operation.

I'm a new Kioti owner, just purchased a DK45. I just have 22 hrs on it so far would rate it at a 9.

i have a dk35 that has 65 hours on it and i rate it a 9. no problems at all and i too find the operator area a little hard to get on and off. my leg gets caught on the gear shifter.

congrats on the new tractor. i liked the dk45 but only had the money for the dk35 both are really good tractors. please keep everyone posted we have to pump some life into this bb. thanks

KIOTI OWNER

Kioti LK3504- 35hp, 4-wheel drive, FEL, R-4 tires.

Total hours- 36 in one year of ownership.

Ratings: Value..........10 ($13,000 w/FEL)

Ease of use...7 (could use larger deck for size 13 feet and gear shift could be moved forward)

Durability....10 (one bolt came loose on FEL)

Transmission.9 (I like shuttle shift, but could be clutchless. I DO NOT want a hydro!)

Maintenance.8 (easy to do but I keep breaking the zirc grease fittings, I can get my grease gun back off of them. Do they use a different standard?)

Fit-n-finish...8 (While plastic can take some blows better, steel will be around a lot longer. A plus that it still looks like a tractor instead of a riding lawn mower.)

Ergonomics..8 (I'm 6'2" and 230lbs but everything seems to be in the right spot, easy to reach, plenty of room and my 5'4" wife just slides the seat all the way forward and has no problems. Had to make my own cupholder .)

Parts avialibility.? (unknown, none needed yet)

I use my tractor for field mowing, grading, ditch digging, working up riding arena, trailer jockying, wheel barrow, etc. You can see that I only have 35 hours in a year which will be typical use. At that rate, it will take 28 years to reach 1000 hours. Why would I want to spend more money on a fancier tractor that can only do the same things?

This tractor has left no regrets and no disappointments. I would definately buy another one.

miklos, sounds like you have had the same experences i have had with my dk 35. i have 65 happy hours on mine with not a glitch. i would definetly get another if needed it but when the tractor does everything you want why trade? i use mine as a wheel barrow too. however, most of my hours were brush hogging. it will cut anything it can push over.

I had the same problem with the grease fittings on my Kubota. The standerd grease gun head that came with my gun refused to come off once attached. My solution was to use one of those heads that once it's on the fitting, you turn part of the head which locks it on. Once done, loosen it by turning it the other way and off it comes. I just happened to have this lying around from an old gun but I can't imaging they are all that hard to find.
