The equipment world is definitely global now. No avoiding it really. John Deere, Kubota, New Holland/Ford, Massy, Mahindra, really any of them. Maybe it isn't something to purposefully avoid. I've found many items made in the US to be just as junk as some items made in china, though china produces FAR more junk. We the consumers, as a collective, push the market on where things are made in the end.
As far as my Kioti is effected, I've got to say that Daedong Metal Ltd isn't a bad place to have most of the tractor made.

They also make parts for Hyundai, LS Mtron, Hydrotech, Volvo, Doosan, and Kubota to name a few. Interesting that last one. I don't claim to know what parts they make for Kubota, I'm sure it's just a few occasional castings and gearing, but it does imply the opposite of what some Kubota dealers have stated to me. But it's all part of the global economy now. If daedong can make some parts for kubota that meet kubota strick quality expectations, then thats good for all of us.
