I've been using a hydraulic brush cutter on my FEL arms for about 20 years now. It'll fling softball-sized rocks 50 yards no problem. So just some friendly advice... keep everyone, and anything, that you don't want potentially destroyed, away from that thing when operating. Especially out in front of it, like your camera operator.

Another thing, since it's so easy to raise and lower (which is great), you can easily put yourself in the same plane as the cutter blades, and that can fling stuff right back at your chest and head in an instant. God help you if a blade lets loose on steel fence post, sign post, hidden iron bar, etc...

Have fun with it. Enjoy it. But respect it. Get some shoes and heavy pants on, too. :thumbsup:

It is without a doubt, the most dangerous piece of equipment I own. Way worse than even the chainsaws.
