Does anyone else have a problem with noise in their RX7320 cab? Because of the problems with noise in the tractor the dealer brought me a new one yesterday. While mowing with a new Rhino 8ft rotary mower today I had to stop and insert ear plugs because of the high pitch noise the tractor made. One of the reasons I bought the tractor with a cab to get away from having to use hearing protection and to have a radio. There is so much noise that I can't hear the radio without turning it up so loud that it is irritating. Has anyone else had this problem?

I hear more gear whine out of mine than anything else - not horrible but louder than I like. My plan is to put some sound proofing material on the floor under the seat and stuff some foam in any gaps that I find. Everybody comments about how quiet the tractor is when it is working, just need to keep a little of the noise out of the cab.

I wouldn't say my cab is loud. Like MickeyDBC, I seem to notice the gear whine, which I agree is louder than I'd like. I don't (yet) have a radio in mine but it's certainly not too load to have one. I've noticed my 3PT lift lever seems to rattle, especially if I have the stop set and the lever very near it. But hearing protection inside my cab is not needed in my opinion.
What is it you are doing when it's so loud? Brush hogging, loader work, plowing? Just curious if it's the implement that might be the cause.
Perhaps a phone-based sound-level meter would give you some hard numbers.

Thanks guys for the response. I was brushhogging mostly weeds and grass. Its worse at higher RPMs or if I go to a higher gear. Part of it may be due to my hearing lost that causes high pitched noises to hurt me. I will have to say that the dealer has really gone the extra mile, but it seems to be and engineering problem and this tractor is quieter than the first. Other than the noise I love the tractor and wish that it maybe had a larger displacement engine, just my opinion. My 3PT lever also rattles but I have a pickup brushhog so I figure that the rough ground causes that. Thanks again for your response.

Mine rattles too sometimes. My ears are jacked up too and there are some high pitched sounds are painful, but the tractor does not seem to have any of them. Just spent two hours mowing (found a tire in the ditch in front of the field) and ran at e-pto speed with the radio on and it was not bad.

@FEG- Have you done your 50 hour service? I'm about to do mine and I talked with the service department at my dealer about the whine and the tech said he would be surprised if changing out the filters didn't have a noticeable positive impact. Understandably that pick up lots of gunk when new and the pressure is growing and working harder causing some noise.
I asked about changing the fluid so the Kubota fluid but that would void the warrenty. However the fluid doesn't actually need to be change at the 50 service so I may go with just the filters and if that doesn't do it then change the fluid to Mobil 424. The dealer I bought from actualy uses Case Hydro Trans and they have permission from Kioti to do so since it meets or exceeds Kioti specs...
