Tractor
2015 Kioti RX7320PC, 1983 Kubota L275 4WD, 1981 John Deere 2440 2WD row crop tractor
I understand that Kioti is now shipping their tractors with an unbranded radio. It is a CD / AM / FM radio with MP3/WMA capability, a front auxiliary & USB ports.

I would appreciate comments about the quality of this radio and/or user experience.

Mine sounds fine so far. It's what you'd expect. The speakers are small and cheap. But plenty of music comes out.

Mine is fine--You have to learn how to switch the frequency bands-Korea is not the same as the USA by trial and error but other than that
once you set it you are fine. Get yourself a beer and push the dials and observe what happens;. Discovery is good for the soul.

The speakers are cheap. I changed mine out to pioneer 3-way 6.5" speakers..sounded better but still not great so I ended up swapping out the Factory for a Kenwood Bluetooth radio..now is sounds great...and Bluetooth my phone rings in and can talk hands free and the wife couldn't tell the tractor was running. All in all a huge improvement over the factory cab NX radio

Did the 6.5" speakers bolt in or did you have to do any modifications?

Put in exactly the way the factory ones are. Just cut the opening with a razor blade to accommodate the new speakers, make new screw holes and you can reuse the screws and nuts used on the factory ones. You will need to lift the top to get access to even remove the old speakers so you can hold the nut from turning with the screw. IF you have a second pair of hands you can change them pretty quickly.

Speed clips are perfect for this. They hold themselves in place.

Yes, I used some Tinnerman clips on a couple of screws I had difficulty since I did it all by my lonesome..
If you have an extra set of hands outside to pull the magnet and seat the speaker while the inside person aligns, drills holes and puts screw in it can be installed quickly with origional hardware.
