Tiller KKII 48" tiller or Woods 52" tiller

   / KKII 48" tiller or Woods 52" tiller #21
I splurged & bought a Woods GHT 60 a couple years back. The thing is built like a tank. I've thrown some serious rocks with it and no damage so far.

My only complaint with mine is the tilling depth. With the side slides installed and adjusted to the deepest setting, it just does not dig deep enough for my liking. I ended up removing the skids entirely.

I have it mounted to a Kubota L4330

With the skids removed, are you happy with the depth?

Thanks Stoneseller.....

Obviously you had no trouble with the skids off. Do any of the rest of you guys run your tillers with the skids removed?

Mine seems to work fine, but with the skids fully retracted I don't think it's doing the 7 1/2 inch gig though. Actually, I don't know if I want to see what's down there at 7 1/2 in this timber soil of mine. Ha!
