He does. I got to see the C100 and C140 in person at the TCI show in Hartford...very impressive machines (also the 275, massive unit). I talked with Galen the national sales rep, very knowledgeable about his products and the whole mulching industry. The biggest advantage of the C100 is the loader arms and it allows you to use other attachments (tree shear, grapple, etc). 39 GPM @ 5000 psi. I would love to see those loader arms on a C140? maybe in the future.

I also saw the Geo-Boy, Gyrotrac, Fecon, Supertrak, Kodiak Kutter 160 and more....

As much as the market will handle! A lot of times I know what I should be making, but what I am willing to work for is a different story. I wish I made what my salesman said I should make!

Quick, still mulching fine! Have recently went back to my hammers due to alot of large acreage jobs lately and more "developer" cuts. Weve been attacking the brush first with the T-300 with the Aambusher DL-66. and then quickly running over with the ASV. While the Bobcat is cutting, I run my root grapple and pile up the downed trees and rootballs. The DL-66 is one of the best investments I have made recently! Seriously well built and Dirty Approved!
PS I have a Timberline rotating tree shear for sale if anyone is interested. We purchased off Skidsteersolutions.com a few months back. Just too much trouble and it is quicker to pull out one of the Stihls.

It took me close to 500 hrs to get the costs pretty close on my gyro trac/ASV 4810 combo...around $70 per hour for machine/head (lots of teeth and a few ASV tracks). So I bumped my rates up to cover my time running the rig and to cover the increase in fuel. What I've noticed is that my costs have gone down since I switch to a Fecon head...down by close to $25 per hour (no, I don't work for FECON). By that may change as I have only 200 or so hours on the Fecon...no bearings or balancing yet...

Now I wonder how that compares to what the Rayco guy would say...

I also run an Ambusher DL-66 ahead of my Mulcher. It works great and greatly reduces operating costs for the mulcher, (approx. $1.00 per hour for blade replacement vs. $8.00 for hammers). I also like the way I can trim over the edge of lake and stream banks and ditches. This greatly reduces hand labor.

You have to keep tightening the shaft nut to keep the blade carrier tight. Thats one thing I don't like, but that and blade sharpening is the only maintenance required.
