Komatsu PC 40 excavator

I am looking for a web site to get information for this machine. No luck. Any helpers ? The excavator is a 10,000lb. machine with a 6 way bladde similar to a bull dozer . Any help is always appreciated >

Not sure the exact nature of the information your looking for, but this link http://www.komatsuamerica.com/index.cfm?resource_id=113is to the Komatsu website, it has tech info and you can download the brochure. The construction company I work for has a wide range of Komatsu excavators from a PC-75 to PC-400-6 a great line of equipment. Hope this helps.

I have a PC 50uu-1 Its a good machine its a 12,000 pound zero tailswing model I use in my excavation company. I have a straigh backfill blade on mine they arent dexigned for heavy dozer work just cleaning uo your trenches and such after the major backfilling has been done with the bucket. I ve never seen a 6 way blade on a mini excavator I think only Kobel co has that. I have seen a 4 way blade just up down and a pin positioned angle/straight for backfilling a trench. A 40 has a tail that the counter wieght sits on like a bigger excavtor. It should have either a 2 hinged sideshift of if its a newer model should have a single pivot side shift. Im asuming its a grey market machine like mine so make sue they have it set on use controls Japanese controls are abit differnet that SAE patterns.

I currently have an Airman AX20 (same as a Hitachi EX20) and also a Takeuchi TB25FR. Both have four different control patterns available simply by turning a valve to A, B, C or D. "A" is Cat type controls. My B7 Yanmar is switchable between two patterns with linkage. All three units are zero-swing and have booms that let you dig straight right up against a wall. Clever guys that build these things!

Guys have told me this excavator is available with the 5 way blade but I still cannot find one on the net. I have a New Holand EC 45 10,000 lb. machine now with straight blade . The six way would be very handy
