Hello, I have a small 6,000 wheel loader I would like to add power beyond on the valving for a third valve, or auxiliary hydraulics as I call it.
The machine is considered gray-iron, so the dealers are being less then helpful about information. I was hoping someone out their has some experience in recognizing a valve assembly for identification, or actual working knowledge on how I can add a second pump, or what valve to use to allow me to hook directly into this hydraulic system for auxiliary implement usage.
It is around a 1987-1990 Komatsu WA-30 Wheel loader. Thanks

The first thing you should do is try and diagram how the hydraulics are currently connected. This will go a long way in determining what your options are.

If the current loader valve has 3 hoses coming from the tractor (not counting those that go from the work ports to the loader cylinders) then that valve has PB and you can connect another valve after it.

If it has only 2 hoses then you have to purchase a valve with power beyond and connect in front of the loader valve.

As you can see, the current configuration is important in determining the course of action.
