Are they good loaders? How do they compare to Bush hog loaders... I need a loader for my FarmTrac 45 and I'm considering this brand but need to know how good they are.
Thanks...
Ok guys I did a search and I found out a little (very little) about the Koyker loaders. Can some of you guys give your opinion of how these loaders compare in strength, heavy duty, longevity to the BushHog loader?
Thanks again, now post a reply dangit! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've never had a Bush-Hog brand loader so I can't compare the two. I have had numerous Koykers and they were great loaders. What are you planning on putting one on? I know that Koyker probably has the widest variety of mounting brackets for the Yanmars. They go out of there way to lay hands on any Yanmar they have not designed a loader for just so they can design the bracket for it.
I'm putting a loader on my FarmTrac 45. I'm building a MX track. I bought my tractor used w/7 hours on it and it came w/a new BushHog chipper/shredder(that's for sale BTW) and it came w/new loader brackets. I didn't know what type loader brackets they were but I just found out that they're BushHog loader brackets(99% sure) so now I'm thinking about going w/the BushHog loader so maybe I can save some $$ by not buying the mounting hardware. The same dealer has Koyker and he says Koyker is better but I wanted more opinions on that because he has the Koyker in stock and maybe he's just telling me that to sell the Koyker, I dunno.
Thanks for any/all info, Russ
The trouble I have with these types of loaders is that they use a European quick attach. That’s fine and they are strong but I want my loader to be compatible with my skid steer universal quick attach plate. Many loader manufactures have got on the boat and are using this standard but koyker isn’t one of them. If I ever get one of these loaders the first thing I will do is replace the attachment plate with a skid steer style quick attach so that I can use my skid steer tools.

I've got one on my 4020 and have had no issues with it. It is VERY heavy though. I have to take it off if I use that tractor for haying.
Thanks guys. I'm inpressed by their lift capabilities compared to the BushHog but weight is also a factor. I'll thin kabout it and keep studying, if anyone has anything else to add please do.
