Koyker loader install / purchase help

I have a Ym-2002 . I want to purchase a Koyker 80 loader (the closet Koyker dealer is to far about 3 hours away, so it looks like I will try and find a dealer that can drop ship it to me, and I will install). (I am in Findlay, OH).

Questions -

1. It would come on a palette I assume? (I don't have forklift )

2. How do I tap into the hydraulics? I have read that right under the right foot board is the best location with both lines being there. Is there an easer way other than cutting and tapping the lines?

3. Anyone know a dealer that would drop ship?

4. Any this else I should know / be aware of?

One more question to add -

80 or 120 on my YM2002?

I am 2WD in a FLAT area - people here don't even know what a 'hill' is!

I am going to use it for removing snow on my 6 acres for driveway to house and barn and also for moving the manure pile. What bucket? 42, 48, 60?

the 120 loader would be the best choice, you can get it with a 4ft or 5ft bucket. stan hoye would be an excellent choice to help you with your purchase he is a top notch guy and has a very reputable buisness.

I've got a Koyker 125 with the 5' bucket on my YM2402D. I've only had it a little over a month, so I don't have a lot of experience with it. Compared to my old Powerking the loader doesn't seem particularly heavy, but it does seem to be engineered a little better? I did move 5 yards of black dirt with it, and it handled a bucket-full with no problems.

How much does a Koyker 80 loader cost? I might be buying a yanmar tomarrow and want to get a loader in the next year or so. Oh, it would be on a 169D yanmar tractor.

I know that you have decided on a Koyker loader, and I will not try to persuade you otherwise. I bought a Koyker model 80 for my F18D even though a Model 120 was recommended for the F18D, because the bucket overhjang was much less than the model 80. EFC Equipent perform the modified installation for me (it requied am amputation of a couple of inches from the front of the tractor's frame). I have been very happy with the installation because of the less overhang, and it seems to be much easier on the front axel when carrying heavier loads.

Since the time of this purchase, EFC started installing Frey loaders which really carry the bucket close up to the front of the tractor without special modifications to the tractor. Take a look at this loader mounted on various Yanmars on EFC equipment's web page and call Buck Bond an ask your questions about a Frey loader for your tractor HOME.

I didn't even know there was another option really. I went to Frey's website, and they didn't list the ym2002, although I emailed their sales to see.

What about cost? Are they cheaper, more, same?

Anyone have one installed?

Well, Frey doesn't make a mount for the ym2002. They do for the ym2000, but looknig at pictures of the ym2000, it's a completely different beast, and the mount holes are completely different.
