I was at the Sunbelt Expo this week and was talking to the factory rep about these balers. From what I understood they are the same balers except the 130 has some options not on the 125. I could do without the wider pickup and the electric tie but I would not want one without the bale kicker that the 130 has. Then the rep said that even the 130 with the bale kicker does not always kick the bale far enough. Does anyone have any experience with either of these balers? Thanks in advance for any opinions or advice!

I own a KR 125 and love it. They have been around a long time and are really popular in Ohio, Penn area. We owned one for 20 years and traded it recently on a new one. I've never had any problems and would recommend this to anyone. As far as kicking the bale out, mine has never not dropped out. I'd recommend a Krone.

We bought a new KR125 this year and I'm very happy with it. Before we had a New Holland and a Duetz Fhar. I did about 500 bales on the Krone this summer, about 100 of which where silage. On very rare occasions when I "over stuffed" the baler I had issues with the bale coming out, but I found that if the PTO is left on when you dump the bale it'll come out no problem. I would have liked the wide pickup that's an option on the 130 but the price difference won out. The narrow pickup gets annoying when your trying to fill one side of the baler.
I can say that it took all I could throw at it. Very heavy late season 1st crop (late september) where I was making a bale every 10 ft. Light 3rd crop where I'd shut the baler down to go across the field and then start back up. I couldn't do that with a belt baler without blowing a shear pin. I could bale right along in bnd range 2nd gear on the 5410 which is moving right along.
Also I back the baler out of the windrow to drop the bale. That way I can pull forward and get clearance before closing the baler back up. Another thing I've noticed the center's of the bales are a little looser than the NH, but the outside is wrapped tighter.

I have a 94 model 181 a good machine my only complaint is the twine feed and wrap is unreliable. Great when it works but sometimes the twine blows off. I switched to hydraulic feed and cut. not as easy but more reliable
