kubota 2630 vs Kioti ck30hst

The new guy here again. Have not purchased a tractor yet. still looking for input and opinion...

I post this in this forum thinking you guys will enlighten me as to why the Kiote is the better buy.. (they are priced similar)

They are both in the same ball park price wise. The Kubota is lighter, less HP. They both come with fel.

It looks to me as if the Kioti is the way to go on this one...bigger is better?

The underwriters kicked the property loan back because the paint is chipping a bit on the front porch. So that gives me maybe another week or two to research these tractors. The Montana I was looking at may not be there when I am ready to get one. I think if the pressure was on I would probably go with the montana. Bigger is probably better with 8 acres..

My first tractor, mmmmmmmmmmm. I used to run other folks to make money back in high school but never owned anything bigger than a garden tractor.

Obviously you're going to get biased opinion in the Kioti forum, but here goes anyway:

If the money is the same, why would you not go with the heavier, more powerful tractor with a better warranty?

If you look at these two tractors you will see the differences instantly. The Kubota is light, optomized for mowing and has a bit less HP but the physical size and weight are the most obvious changes. The CK has a stronger loader.

I'd guess they are about the same cost which I assume is why you are comparing them. Roughtly, the Kioti CK30 is closer in size to the Kubota L2800 and the Kubota 2630 is closer to the Kioti CK20.

Did the Kioti, JD, Kubota comparison a few years ago. Get the dealer to bring it out to where you are going to use it. Did not even bother with the deer after preliminary reiviews were over. Had both the BX2600 and Kioti on the property and both did everything we asked. The Kioti was just a more solid tractor. I have both steep slope and bumpy ride. The Seat on the Kioti is the bomb and with loaded tires there is no way I am going to tip this tractor without intending to do so. Pricewise they were the same, but then I was getting a compact tractor vs a sub-compact. The Kioti could lift circles around the Kubota also. Put a back blade on and when it snows here I can clear drives pretty effectively with a bucket on front and blade in the rear. I would change one thing having owned the tractor a few years now. I wish I had purchased the ck35 hst. Good luck.
