so im back with my seat sensor problem...Kubota 2650 despite plenty of weight the tractor keeps stalling. Dealer could not find anything wrong.. but it is driving me nuts. is there some way to by pass this or disconnect it all together. I have even put a weight on the seat with seat cushion... it was slightly better but still stalls. thanks Im not one to by pass safety in any way shape or form but this is too much

Are you certain the problem is from the seat safety switch, and not some other solenoid? Like maybe a fuel shutoff relay or some such?

Im positive it is the seat..all other things have been ruled out. i have sat on the seat and operated without problems then certain movements, like turning to look back or maybe leaning forward and she stalls right out.

if it is anything like the BX2660 seat..............tip the seat forward , remove the spring activated plate, pull the seat switch out, bypass the switch so it always thinks someone sitting on the switch with a piece of wire and connectors. Put it back to together....get on with life without the hassle.

my seat does not tip forward and the switching is hidden.. this is a 2016 B2650 I hear what you say and appreciate it but i do not have that access on this

one more thing..i did lift the seat cushion and found the two sensors... i believe not enough pressure reaches the sensors when sitting on the seat so i will add something on top of the sensors to insure better contact with the sensors...i think that will work

so i got brave and took the seat apart...there is a blue plastic piece that has to fit precisely over the two white sensors...it was not properly positioned.. after repositioning i tried it again and the problem is solved and i still have the safety feature. so anyone that experiences that , let me know, i can further explain...

You should ask the dealer if they are hiring....

I had this problem on my new L3301. But, it only happened when a guy working for me used the tractor. He is about 150 lbs, and every time he moved, slid, or turned around in the seat it would turn off. Swore there was a problem with the tractor. I park my fat azz on the tractor, and never a problem since...
