Kubota 2660 Tire chains

I'm going to put rear chains on my Kubota 2660 to facilitate snow plowing with turf tires. Any problems I should be aware of?

Hi Brushmaster,

I have a 2920 with Turf tires and was also concerned about blading with no chains. Still I decided to go it without chains and if I learned that I needed them, I could always buy them later. Here in Southern Maryland we got slammed about 3 weeks ago with 20 inches of snowfall. I went out and bladed and never had much of a issue. I have a 1/3rd mile long drive with some fairly steep hills.

I talked to my Kubota sales rep afterwards. "How'd you do?" he asked. I told him "great", and his response was "Yah, that's what I thought, I think I've only sold one set of chains in the last 5 years for B series with turf tires".

You will have no problem- plenty of clearance.

I have 4 link on my 2660 and 2 link on my 2200.

I do prefer the 2 link.

I have R4 tires on the BX2660 and would not be without chains.
Scary how close the plastic fuel tank is to the tire chains.

I have a set of two link V bar chains on my 2660 got them from tirechain.com part # GT17-2V 85308V I use bungie cords rather than the springs they sell to tension them works great have had them now for 3 years. I need chains to plow the driveway from **** when it get's icy. See pics of the chains and plow.
