Kubota 3 point lift

Hello All

I have a Kubota B6100 Gear 4x4 with factory 1630 loader. The 3 point lift is totaly jumpy. when box blading (leveling property) and I want to lift to let some dirt out it will not just go up a few inches it wants to go up all the way and empty the box. Also if the lever is 1/2 way it makes some noises. So I must either be all the way down or all the way up. I found the nob to slow down the lowering but nothing for the raising of the 3 point. This is making leveling very difficult. Any sugestions?

B6100E/B6100DT - 1978 - Gear - 14.0hp - 2/4 wheel drive.
B6100HSE/HSD - 1981 - Hydrostatic - 14.0hp - 4 wheel drive.

Did you just get the tractor? Used? Depending on the valve, you might be able to replace it (Of course, at your cost and labor). I have not heard about your model doing this before. My valve was finally replaced but it was during the warranty period. The price for just my valves was $600 without labor (since I was told by one dealer that the Kubota's area rep. "ok'ed" my replacement valve under a 50/50 cost share...)

Your 3pt is up or down type..... it is not a position control.

When you are box blading you just put the lever in the up position for just a moment to lift it a little instead of leaving it there till it goes all the way up.

Most small tractors are like this...my little 15hp Mitsubishi is.

Oh yea that squeeling is the pump when you don't have the lever in the full up position while you have weight on the 3pt, it is saying it needs more hydraulic flow to lift the implement.
