Kubota 3940 grad L or Mahindra 4110??

I currently own a massey ferg.1240 4X4 28 hp and want to step up to a bigger HP tractor.I have been pricing the Mahindra 4110 with skid steer bucket the price is $20,900 the kubota 3940 grand L with skid steer bucket and glide shift tranny is $21,750.There is not much difference in price IMHO.Not to start a Pi$$ing match but what would be the best choice between these 2 tractors.Dealer support in my area is good for both tractors also.I have also posted this same question in the Mahindra tractor section also.Thanks for any feedback.coobie

Just bought a L3940 and paid $21,300 for an HST with the skidsteer bucket.

From a resale perspective the Kubota will have the best if that is a consideration. You likely won't find many that have never heard of them but 90% of folks have never heard of Mahindra.

My recommendation is to give your dealer another chance on price. If he won't budge then give Barlow equipment a call. I bought from them and hauled 400 miles here. They beat the local dealer by $2,500. Feel bad but thats just too much.

I CONCUR W/ 1586. GIVE BARLOW A CALL. I PURCHASED A L4330HSTC FROM HIM LAST YEAR. $2,800 BELOW WHAT I COULD BUY IT FROM THE LOCALS UP HERE IN THE NORTHEST.GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH.THEY KEPT ME POSTED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. GOOD LUCK

I will also give a thumbs up to Barlow. Saved many thousands AND got great service from a distance. Great people to deal with.
