What have you tried to get them off? Tell us what you have done.

Use some fluid film to break it loose not heat, the paint probably has the splines stuck together.

The use of heat will potentially cause a fire with the hydraulics in the rear and possibly melt some wiring if it is exposed.

If it were me; I would use fluif film first to start then the salamander about 6 feet away from the rear of the tractor to warm it up an then treat the male and female splines with fluid film before I put them back on.

Oh and dont forget to mark the spline locations with a paint pen in one solid line to align it properly before you slide it off- spend a half hour with the salamander and it should pull right off after you use the paint pen to mark the spline and lift arm location exactly.

we must not be talking about the same thing there is no spline its just a pin that holds the lower arm

By your ? I take it you are talking the lower link. Try turning and if they turn without turning the ball, if so just keep turning and pulling, it well come out.
Now if the ball turns inside the lower link, you well have to push it next to the other side to try and hold it. One way to do that is with a ball joint tool to hold it. Be real easy and not bang on it to hard you could brake the housing.
If this is something you don't like to do, then you might get small cut off tool and cut in the middle of the ball on two sides.

If we're on the same page, you're talking about the pins with the flange through which the bolt goes. From memory, they're not too close to the electrics or anything hydraulic but heating might just expand the pin instead of the socket. Those pins do need be be kept well greased. Tapping on their flange to try to rotate the pin should break them free of any rust if you soak with release oil first.

There is a similar pin for the lower link on my Lxx10 model that comes off to mount the Kubota backhoe. If you don't loosen it much and the tractor sits outside or in moist conditions, I expect it would get some rust and be hard to remove. Winter salt or fertilizer accumulations would do the same thing. Being that it's part of the rear axle, you may need some major heat to free it up, and I'd be reluctant to put the torch to it. There is a tab on each pin that you can grab with vise grips or use a driver to free it so the pin rotates in the hole. Would dose it with penetrating lube for a day or so first. The lower link can also simply be binding the pin, so relieve any weight on it as well. If it was rusted in place, either lube it in the future or find a drier place to keep the tractor... moisture is not friendly to machinery.
