Hello, Group...new member here.
I have a Mahindra 4500...and I am fairly certain that the pin that holds the PTO shift-lever (inside the transmission) is broken. (The PTO lever slides in-and-out of the Tranny as far as the floor-plates allow, with no resistance.)
I have the pin...but I'm a little nervous about approaching this. The IPBs I've seen don't tell me enough about what's in there, and clearance, etc.
My question is:
Can I get to that PTO linkage and replace the pin by removing the top Shifting plate assembly...or would I have to split the tranny?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
