Kubota air-ride seat for L60 series HSTC

It's hard to find any pictures of the seat (Kubota supplied Grammer seat) in the newer L60 series cabs. Does the air seat have the same swivel feature for rear implement work? Do you find it a big improvement? The stock suspension seat doesn't give much thigh support, bounces too much and the seat back is too thick for easily throwing your arm over when backing up. Anyone have the cloth air seat in your L60 cab?

I had a the dealer installed air ride seat on a previous L6060. If I recall it didn't swivel. The seat would not tilt forward to operate 3ph without operator present so ended up having to put heavy toolbox on seat to run my chipper. I didn't get the air seat on the new tractor, for me it was not worth the extra money. If I did a lot more road travel I would consider the extra expense but right now the stock seat is fine.

Thanks for the opinion. I think I may try to stiffen the spring somehow. The swivel feature is nice.

I put a Grammer air-ride seat with swivel on my L5740. The swivel is a separate assembly and it adds considerable height to the seat. I had to extend my hydro pedal and put an extra piece of foam to raise my floor mat. It came out OK but something to be aware of. I am 5 ft. 8 in. If you are around 6 feet or taller the swivel might be a nice addition on its own.

No swivel on the OEM air ride seat on my L4060HSTC. I'm not sure there would be much room for it. As it is the armrest occasionally shuts off my PTO if things bounce right. I need to see if I can loosen up bolts & shift it half an inch to the left or something. Have yet to get motivated enough though.

I'm going to try to work with the suspension seat. If I tighten the knob too much, I go up too high and if I loosen it to go lower (correct height) it's too soft/bouncy (160 lbs and 5'8"). So I'll get the height right and then stiffen it or lock it. There's way too much movement for me. I've only had fixed seats before this tractor. Thanks

Range of cushioning on my L6060 is very low. Had air ride on my MX135GX, have it on my M7 and Case IH 1680 combine which convinced me I needed it on the L6060 when I traded my L5740 but I consider the air seat was wasted money.

I have no complaints with the spring suspension seat on my L6060 ROPS but would likely find inadequate spring tension if I was heavier.
