Kubota AT 70S Tiller

I have a Kubota AT 70S Tiller with a bad motor. I have been told that a new motor is not available for this unit.
Has any one adapted a different motor to this model tiller. Is there anything special about the motor on this tiller???
I feel like I can put about any motor on this if I have a little info. For instance, clockwise or counterclockwise??,
what is the gear reduction ratio??? Any help out there??? I think parts are available for an overhaul of this motor
but I would rather put on a new motor, the tiller is 30 plus years old.

I have access to Honda, Briggs and Kohler engines but I do not know which one will be right for this tiller.
