Kubota B 1550 Package

I have the chance to buy a Kubota B 1550 that comes with loader, box, blade, and a 16' trailer. It is a 98 with about 1300 hrs. The guys wants $8500 for the package.

Thoughts? I'm not overly familiar with 1550, but seems like it may be underpowered for some jobs.

I've got a B1550 with a 4in1 bucket, backhoe, and rear mower. 4WD with HST transmission. Its only about 17hp but thats sufficient for most 'small tractor' jobs. You wouldn't be able to plough with it though.

Are you sure its a '98. I didnt know they made them for that long. Mine's about mid 80's. They are a good simple reliable tractor. Impossible to say if the price is right without knowing what the trailer is worth.

The current owner said it was a 98, maybe that was a typo as I see they were only made up to 1997. He claims that everything is in excellent condition, but I have only seen pictures of the tractor. It does seem to be very well maintained. This machine is HST and 4x4 if that helps.
