Hello,
I have my new Kubota b2231 since 5 months now. I am very happy, it's a fantastic machine, but there is one problem which I see recently.
The trouble is that when the machine is not moving, I have a problem with the power steering - the wheels are not willing to rotate and I hear the sound of the pump having too hard time.
I join a small video so You can see what I am talking about.
Kubota b2231 steering wheel problem - YouTube
- This happens when machine is standing down
- It can happen just once during the whole day, or not at all
- The problem dissapears immediatelly when I move the tractor forward or back - so at next stop, it should be OK
My dealer replied, that this is a normal issue due to the fact that I have the FL and therefore the solution is to use the ballast in the back.
Which is total b-s, because this happens also with 300KG in the back and empty bucket (as You can see on the video bucket is empty)
Do You guys have any idea what could cause the problem? I suspect that it could be the Orbitrol valve. I am really puzzled now, because theoretically I cannot do anything - the tractor is new (warranty), so I cannot repair it myself and the dealer says it's fine... Really no idea what to do.
The problem is not affecting the daily job honestly - I just move the machine and its fine. If I drive - absolutely no problem with power steering.
What do You guys think?
