I priced a remote kit from kubota and Im not willing to pay the 700.00.

I have a top link and a valve picked out from surplus center but I want to make sure Im getting the right valve..does someone have a spec sheet from the kubota kit that shows what the valve configuration is?
below is the vavle that I would plan on using...

Surplus Center - 1 SPOOL 8 GPM PRINCE MB11C5C1 MOTOR SPOOL VALVE

I plan on using this set up for a hyd top link and or a log splitter setup.

If funds dont allow the above plan can I do the followiing?

Skip the valve for now and just make hoses up for output and return to run a 3 point splitter? ( the splitter has is own control valve)

thanks in advance

I believe there is a hyd block on most Kubota's. If there is a PB port, you can use that as the pressure line, use another hose from the 3pt for the return. If you are not using the log splitter, just connect the two hoses together. Put the male QD on the pressure line. Line from the 3pt will have the female QD.

You could also send the OUT port fluid of the log splitter valve directly to tank through a return filter if you like.

Did you mean to select a motor spool valve.

For T-N-T, you should use a two or three spool tandem center valve. If it were mine, I would get a three spool valve and use two of the spools with the T-N-T, and the other spool with a three way detent kit on it for the log splitter. If the third spool only has spring center detent, you will have to bungee the lever to on.

My old L2250 had a power beyond for a splitter with no separate valve. Just hook up the hoses from the splitter and bob's your uncle. I had a short piece of hose to close the loop on the tractor when the splitter was not being used.

Now on my new tractor it has the 3 remotes from Kubota and I have to bungee one of the valves in the open position to use my splitter :( Kind of like the old method better!

this is good advice thank you

I may run the hose method for now but, I like your three spool idea.

I have a B 2323HSD and would like to use the method listed here. I just do not know what ports on the side of the tractor would be the pressure side and the return.
Can anyone send a photo of the ports or a diagram? This seems like a simple task as there is a spool valve that can be added so the ports are there somewhere.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Glenn

I wonder why Kubota doesn't offer a detent valve for the L model tractors? :confused3: I know that it is an option on the M models. ;)
