I just aquired a used hydraulic post driver and am trying to get it to work with my B26. The manual says it requires 4gal/min at 1500 psi. I have a rear remote on my tractor, but I have no idea what volume or pressure is supplied to it (or anywhere else on the tractor for that matter). This information isn't listed in the tractor manual, does anyone have an idea what I am working with? After hooking up the post driver I am unable to get its piston to budge. Thanks!
Hi J.J. , My name is Ken I am a new member and wondered if you might have some advice and or direction for me please. I have a Kubota B26 TLB which has the BT820 backhoe and came with a factory installed hydraulic thumb and I love it. My question is I recently purchased a hydraulic breaker model Cal 450 and I have been told that the thumb requires a double action type valve function to open and close the thumb and the breaker requires a single action valve function that returns the fluid back to the tank so is the remote auxiliary valve used on the thumb set up to operate in a single action manner if hooked up correctly or do I need to do some plumbing? I hope I explained that so it makes sense to you , like I said I am new and know just enough to be dangerous as my DAD used to say when he was still around I sure do miss him ! anyway Thank You for your time and patience regarding my project sincerely, Ken Hoffman
I am not sure how those breakers work except one line provides fluid to the breaker and the return fluid would go back to tank.
I am also thinking that once you provide the fluid, the valve on the breaker activates, so my best guess is to use the thumb hyd flow with the lever held open with a bungee cord.
Is the breaker hyd flow matched up to your tractor hyd?
