Snowblower KUBOTA B2782 SNOWBLOWER

Can I please get opinions on the value of a used Kubota B2782 Snowblower. It is a 3 point rear PTO Model, manual chute, garage kept, 2 years old, no rust.

I am considering purchasing it from my friend for my B7610 and I want to offer him a fair price but not overpay. I am having trouble finding enough used items on the WWW to get a good baseline and I am not sure what this retails for new.

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Its a great blower, but are you sure you don't want to mount it on the front?

I understand I could modify this unit to front mount pretty easily and add the hydraulic chute option but I really like having the loader attached year round and my with a 63" chute I can clear my 150' driveway in 4 passes so going backwards won't kill me. I also live near NYC so we don't get killed with snow like some of you guys do.

Thats the same blower I have on my B3030. Its commercial duty.... very rugged. They are made for Kubota by R.A.D. in Canada. I'd certainly call it one of the better blowers on the market.

Ductape - how much did you pay for yours?

I couldn't tell you exactly how much mine was because it came in a package with a bunch of other attachments...... but looking at some paperwork it looks like list price in 2007 was $1,532 for the blower and $513 for the three point hitch mount + chute kit. $125 for manual chute rotation. Grand total in 07 $2170.00........ actually less than I was expecting from Kubota (if I'm reading correctly).

I have the shorter version of the same blower, works great, great build and I paid about $1600 cad, 2yrs ago. I have manual rotation and elevation, which is fine for now, lots of threads about customization, may get to some day. You can't go wrong with this blower.

I also have that blower also, and I like it a great deal. We had a 24" wet heavy snow the first year that I had it, which I thought was a pretty good test for it, and it handled it like a knife through butter. Like Ductape's, mine is a front mounted unit. We get any where from 15 to 30 feet a year, so for me a front blower is a necessity.
