I just read the Kabota recommendations on oils because of another post and it does not recommend synthetics.
I Googled "Kabota engine oil recommendations"
Your statement is completely incorrect. I pulled this directly off of Kubota's Engine America website here:
Kubota Engine America - Compact Diesel Engines
Q: Can I use synthetic oil in my Kubota engine?
A: Kubota recommends oil with an API rating of CF or higher. If the synthetic oil meets those standards, it can be used in Kubota engines.
In addition, NOWHERE in my
B3030 Owner's Manual does it make any statements against using synthetic engine oils.
I have 300 hours on my machine, and have been running synthetic engine oil, of the proper API service rating, per the Owner's Manual, since the 50 hour mark, and am about to do my 300 hour service, complete with synthetic engine oil.
Engine runs great, as most any engine will when running synthetics, which are far superior to non-synthetic oils, as numerous oil analyses I've had done over the past 10 years of running diesels, have shown.
Synthetics also give you much better protection in extreme high and low temperature engine and ambient air conditions.
