Just wanted to post this as I had not found another post with this information.
My B3030 HST peddle had stopped returning to neutral and it would fall forward and back engaging the transmission causing it to creep forward or back.
The issue turned out to be a bearing in the “neutral holder” mechanism. (See part number 081206000)
I had removed the entire floor to replace mine, which allowed me to replace it and to replace the damper, but the bearing could be replaced by removing only the centre section.
The centre portion of the old bearing had to be ground off using a die grinder and the replacement needed to be pressed on using a C clamp. In hindsight heat may had aided the install.
I ended up replacing the damper and bushing as well before I realized it was the bearing. That was $200 and not required, so hoping to save the next guy that lesson.
Hoping the helps someone else.
Cheers.
