I have a kubota b3030. it has a select lever to select mid, rear, or mid+rear pto. i can select mid and mid+rear, but cant select rear only. it appears the lever will not go far enough back to engage the rear only setting, and hits the plastic shroud before allowing enough travel.

does anyone know of any adjustments to teh link arm to re-zero the lever?

i don't see anywhere it would be adjustable. the lever moves freely, and can hear click when it aligns in the mid and mid+rear settings. just appears lever needs to travel further back to select rear only.

thanks for any help or suggestions.

I have the same problem with my 2006 B3030 Cab w/300 hours. Tractor is in the shop having the cab removed to determine the problem. Definitely not an external linkage problem. Regional representative is supposed to be in the area on Wednesday to inspect the problem. Tractor is pampered and has low hours. Has anyone heard of a an ongoing problem with the B3030 PTOs? Thanks.

The levers are not of a good enough quality metal to hold their shapes (to thin a metal) I had to rebend mine and then I beefed them up by welding additional metal to the levers. They have worked fine since I beefed them up

mine are 3/8" steel. i thought about bending, but didn't want to add any stresses to the metal. they shouldn't need to be able to handle any force, it is effortless to shift between pto positions, but at 3/8" i can't see them bending.

i ended up taking off the plastic shroud and gave it a little pressure forward and it lined back up. i just used my hand to give pressure, was worried about giving to much. i don't know where it was slipping, but guessing where it connects to the rod going into gearbox, as this is only place i see possible. its not a keyed fit or anything, just pressure fit which should be sufficient, if you need to force the lever there something wrong. its working fine now.

Dealer states that the synchronizer was the cause of all my problems. Kubota regional representative ( as a gesture of goodwill) has agreed to pay for the replacement parts ($531.00). Labor is approzimately $1200.00. Synchronizer was replaced with an upgraded version. I will attempt to have Kubota pay the labor costs also. The synchronizer should not have failed at 300 hours and an upgraded replacement indicates a faulty part from the very beginning. Has anyone had any experience dealing with Kubota with a similiar issue? Tractor has 300 hours and is 4.5 years old. Although no longer under warranty, will Kubota stand by their product? Thanks for your replies.
