I ran a 4' Land Pride finish mower behind a B6100E. It was close to maximum capacity for that tractor but worked fine for several years until I traded up. I found that I had the feather the clutch to spin up the mower and you would probably have to do the same with a brush hog.
I doubt that the load on the tractor is much different for either of the mowers.
