I have been looking to remove the tires someone put on this tractor; and installing R-1 tires on it.
What is on it now cannot be correct for the ratio; as the front universal joint to the pinion had the
splines taken out. It was smooth bore. No wonder there was no 4 wheel drive.
Front tires are 155R12 and the rear are LT235/85R16.
This is a grey market so i cannot find the correct ratio for this tractor. Have been given numbers 1.46 to 1.326?
One gentleman on here posted these were made for rice paddies and used Bridgestone tires.
But the chart he posted did not have a 500-12 tire listed; it started at 600-12. If I go with Carlisle 500-12 and 8-16 and use the Titan lead lag calculator it comes out negative.
really could use some help here

A quick check at tractordata.com would indicate you are correct on your tire size selection to return to original sizing. That site shows 5.00-12 and 8-16.

Fixing the lack of splines may be a much more difficult process. I would suggest a salvage search for your tractor. A salvage dealer may be able to tell you if parts from a similar model would fit your B7000.
Good luck on getting it lined out.

Went with a new one from a different Kubota that is sold in the U.S. Fit great. New spiral pin and safety wire. Raised the front axle spin one tire the other spins backwards to the first. Took the tractor on a grade and yes it has all four wheels working. The salvage yards are unbelievable in what they want for used ? parts. Some will not even send a photo of the part you are looking for without you first paying for the part. The tire ratio and rolling circumference of the tires are so different between brands and the overall height between brands is really hard to grasp. Most rear 8-16 R1 tires are pretty stable in height and depth. Hard to figure out the lag/pull between the front and rear as a B7000 has small rims in width 3" front and 5" rear. Best answer I got for ratio was 1.46. Going by the tires on it now. 21" x 1.46 = 30.66 x 95% = 29.12 =+- 5% of rear which are 31.25" is neg which is not too good.
