I hope someone can help

I have an old Kubota B7100 4 wd which is an absolute work horse for me on my small holding, the trouble is a noise has appeared in recent months. The noise sounds like a 'graunching' - when you engage gear and release the clutch to pull away in any gear the thing sounds awful. I am not a mechanic but would like to understand what the problem is likely to be so I don't get ripped off by an unscrupulous dealer

thanks in advance

Sounds like the throw out bearing Or pilot bearing ... Both are at the clutch.
If it is either one you will likely 'feel' it in the clutch pedal.
If there is any noise when you start to push the clutch pedal in, it is the throw out bearing... If it is only when letting the clutch pedal Out it is the pilot bearing. KennyV
