Will a king kutter standard 30 inch dirt scoop fit my tractor hitch? Is the 30" width too much area for the scoop to dig/scrape properly. Anyone have any experience with these. I need to terrace a hill aproximate 20" deep, 25' wide x 60' long. This material will be scrapped/pushed over to level a spot for a pole barn. Thank you for your reply.

A 4 or 5 foot box blade can move a lot of dirt. Tractor might be a little small for the 5 foot.

My dirt scoop was a waste of money. But, was better than a shovel and wheel barrow.
I bit the bullet long ago and got a box scrapper and fel. Never used the scoop again.

I couldn't use my 30" scoop on my old B6100, the lower arms wouldn't/couldn't extend out far enough to get over the pins. I found a 24" scoop at Rural King that would fit inside the arms, so I bought that. All in all, pretty much a waste of money unless all you're doing is scooping loose dirt. The Kubota had enough power, but it was too light to get enough traction to dig in very much. I could get the box about 1/3 or 1/2 full, then the tractor would spin all four wheels.
Maybe if you plowed the ground first, then scooped it, but you're going to be spending a lot of time moving a small amount of dirt.

For leveling a building pad, I'd suggest a box blade with rippers/scarifiers.
Measure your rear tire track, outside to outside - you want a blade that's just a little wider than that.
If you can set the wheels so the track is 45 or 46", then a 4' blade would pull & dig nicely with the B7300.
You will find other uses for it when you're done with this project.
