Getting some crunching sounds out of my rear axle both on the left and right side of the tractor...Sounds like it is coming from the axle....Is this a pretty uncommon sound? I notice that when the rear of the tracotor is underweight, i.e. implement lifted off ground and more weight on the tractor it does it more. I also notice it more when I am turning tighter radius turns. It sounds like a crunch.

Has anyone ever heard of these bearings going bad...If so do you recall any posts on here that you could point me to.

What you're describing sounds like wheel bearings. I don't know of other posts. But doesn't it sound strange that the noise is coming from both sides? I mean both bearings going at the same time. Could the sound be traveling?

Your 7610 is same as my 7510 as far as rear axle setup. They have adjustable rear wheel widths. The newer B series do not.You probably only have loose pins that pin the axle when you change the width. I had this problem once and also got what I would describe as popping sounds. These large bolts are supposed to be torqued to around 100 foot pounds , I believe, but better check the manual. I retorqued mine and used a medium hold loctite compound several years ago and have not had them loosen again.
You might want to change the width sometime in the future
