I have a B7800HSD and I just had a BH75 installed and I was hoping that someone could give me some information concerning the hydraulic block mounted on the side of the tractor housing. The block has two ports, one is labled Pump and the other is labled Pump and the other is labled Power Beyond. Originally there was a hose that went from the Power Beyond Port of the hydraulic block to the PB port of the FEL valve. When the BH75 was installed, this hose was removed and a hose was installed from the PB port of the FEL valve to the rear of the tractor and another hose was installed from the rear of the tractor to the PB port of the hydraulic block. Both of these hoses have QD fittings that couple to the BH75 and when the BH75 is removed, the hoses are looped together which essentially restores the original hose configuration. I am hoping that one of Kubota experts can tell me the function of the PB port on the hydraulic block. I have been reading everything that I can find on TractorByNet and so far have not run across any information that explains the function of this port. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Richard

The BH75 is in series (has to be) with the FEL.
The small hose that went from the FEL Control to the Hyd block was removed and replaced w/ 2 long hoses with QDs on it.
When you drop the Backhoe, you have to connect the 2 long hoses together to complete the circuit.

Exactly; and remember don't run the tractor until you have done this.

Thanks guys for the replies. I am aware of how the original plumbing prior to the BH75 installation and also what was changed after the installation and that when the hoe is removed that the lines have to be looped which essentially restores the original configuration. I still would like to know what the function of the PB port on the hydraulic block is? I was thinking that possibly this port should have been labled Power In instead of PB, but for whatever reason Kubota elected to label it as PB. Thanks again.

The "power" side comes from the pump (no pressure relieve Valve, usually).
"Power Beyond" means power beyond (after) your first hydraulic attachment. Usually, Power Beyond has over pressure (PRV) protection provided by the first attachment.
