Kubota backhoe comparisons/compatibility

Is there a chart or PDF out there that lists the backhoe attachments that Kubota makes and tells you what tractor they can be used on or are all 4 pt backhoes compatible with all Kubota 4 pt subframes? I'm looking at getting a new B3300SU but a friend of a friend has a Kubota backhoe attachment for sale at an awesome price. That may determine what tractor I get since those things are $7k-$8k new!

The BH for the 3300SU is the BH76 which also fits other models L2800 and so on. You can look at the Kubota web site and get info too.

Also if your friends BH has a model # this is missing piece of info. If its an older subframe mounted BH it "may" fit but again you need to supply the model # and pictures or something as a point of reference for the used BH.

There are other 3rd party BH too, like woods, bradco etc that are good units. The 4PT connection is basically the attachment method and there are still some subframe members that attach to the tractor.

I know this doesnt help much but get the model # of your friends BH and go from there.

Maybe I can help a little bit.

First, can we presume your friend's backhoe is a 4 point and not a 3 point setup? Kubota has offered both types; a 3 point would be more likely compatible, if not as capable as a 4 point, subframe type.

The Kubota backhoes do not all have the same 4 point mounts across tractor models and series, so the odds are against an older backhoe matching the subframe mount designed for a newer tractor. You might get lucky, of course, but you probably shouldn't expect it will fit.

As Carl says, get your backhoe model number and go from there. Some cooperation from your dealer will help a lot, since he will have details concerning the proper OEM-new backhoe and subframe combination for the B3300SU, from which he should be able to itemize the specific subframe part numbers for you and match them against the subframe specs called for with that used backhoe you're looking at.

I'd not expect the exact part numbers to be the same, so it may get down to taking measurements to see if the mounting geometry is the same.

If you have the Backhoe model number, you can cross reference it to non-current Kubota tractor models using this part of their web site. Click on the tractor series listed on the left side, then on the implements tab. You should be able to scan pretty quickly for which tractors used that backhoe, but as stated above, you need the BH model number.
