kubota bh77 cylinder to hose adapter

Cylinder leaks at cylinder to adapter threads. Hose connection appears fine. 36.5 hours.
Adapter appears to be 3/8 jic x 3/8 nptf male. Nptf appears to have white Teflon tape on threads. Anyone have better source for adapter? Better thread sealant for sudt? Actual known sizes? Also posted in kubota o&o forum.

Try a new nptf fitting and use Loctite 542 or something similar. Npt fittings are not designed to be used over and over. The threads deform and just get worse in sealing ability.

Yes. I gotta make sure i order right one.
Oem says china on it. I'd like best fit if theres better makers.

Yup, unfortunately that is the case anymore. There are still some QD's made in the US however.

There is no guarantee that fittings made in USA will not leak.

There are a few manufacturers of hyd fittings made in USA.

You might be screwing a USA fitting into a made in China fitting.

My biggest problem is verifying the size. I think its 3/8 jic x 3/8 nptf male or 1/2 jic x 3/8 nptf male.

Od on npt and jic is 9/16". Jic 9/16=an 6 size and npt =3/8".
