Kubota bt601 backhoe on non kubota

I might have an opportunity to pick up a bt601 backhoe at a deal, but I'm not sure if it's realistic to think that fabbing a mount to fit my kioti dk40se wont be that difficult. I figure that it's doable and maybe $500 in some metal besides what I have laying around and add a little seat to the mount. Is this a dumb idea? I'm not sure what the price of the backhoe is yet, but if I could get it for 1000-1500, would it be worth trying. Has anyone done something like this before?

Not a job for a do-it-your-self weekend warrior. Severe forces get applied to the subframe and the tractor, and a poor design or poor execution could put both the equipment and the operator at considerable risk. If this is the first one you've ever done, I'd suggest you think it over carefully before moving ahead.
