I thought the same as the foldable roll bar sometimes leaks out some rusty water. Or I could drill some drainage holes on the bottom?

Not to leave people in suspense: He ended up billing me €800, which is around $1,000. Ouch. However, one has to dock out 19% VAT so that's $800, and the best anyone on the US could do was around $300 with shipping of about another $300, and I would've had to pay about 20% import duty on top, so that would've been $720 notional. Plus Germany has higher per-hour wage costs. Still felt like a lot, but it's already doubtless saved me much more in damage over the past few months of heavy usage (sand, manure and heavy field mowing).
