Howdy All,
I finally got around to building the Pallet fork hitch combo. Pictures are attached.
The quick attach forks pictured are 30" long which fits the bill for most of my lifting. Longer "brush" forks are under construction.
The hitch is a 2" standard square receiver to take any size ball combo. It is easily removed with hitch pins to allow quick change between fork and hitch mode.
I went with a open frame design to allow easy visibility of the task at hand. It is amazing how much easier it is to move trailers around when facing the right direction and operating a short wheelbase machine.
The Bx tires are loaded and I have a rear ballast box but still only move empty trailers on flat surfaces.
