Great. Got to love the BX.

It's the only tractor I've ever used and have to say I can't complain about it at all. Always amazed at what it can do.

Man, I wish I could work that fast with mine!

A bit speedy alright :) Some of that footage is 8X normal.

A tooth bar on the FEL would speed up the project some more. We would never waste those fir seedlings. We replant everyone we see. We have conifers of several varieties all around the house area and find 20-30 seedlings every summer. They get added to the tree farm in fringe and sparse areas. We do that with maple and mountain ash also as they grow wild around here. We sell some in 5 gallon pots as they continue to mature. The only tree we waste is alder. Here it is considered a weed.

Have to say I relate easily to all you are saying. I've considered a tooth bar but before I was aware of that implement I had most of the work done where I could use it (in particular tearing up my old lawns and replacing with new soil/sods/seed.) I did transplant some small fir, spruce, and mountain ash to the front of our property and they are for the most part surviving but not growing that much. The property in front of the house is exposed to everything mother nature can spare... but wind is probably the main problem. About 15 years ago I planted about 20 potted lilacs out front. They were about 15 inches tall then and now they probably average only 30 inches tall - some of them do produce a few blossoms each year. Alder trees same as here, they are for the most part considered weeds. I had a lot of them early on but not much left now. Interesting that the trees you mention are all common on this (the other) side of the continent :)

OP here - Found some more footage on the road/fence project that should be useful to help get a better perspective on the overall project. Didn't see these clips when I did the original editing.
