Congratulations to you! Glad itç—´ working out well. That seems like a big change in locale to me but may not be for you.

It is. But the Piedmont/Foothills have a lot of similarities to the Hudson Valley. Like my sister says, it is the other end of the same mountains. I would not want to be east of the Fall Line on the coastal plain.

Sounds kinda like the Llano Escarpment in Texas except here it’s just higher altitude and dryer atmosphere west of the uplift. Is there a big difference in humidity on your side of the Fall Line?

Much of the time there is.
