Kubota BX MMM Baggers System....

I have misplaced the instruction/owners manual for the GCK60BX grass catcher bagger system. I need the information on the location of where the baffle gets mounted on the inside of the 60" mower deck. If anyone can supply that information I would greatly appreciate it. A picture of what it looks like mounted would also be nice. thanks in advance..... Junk..

Hope that gives you what you need as they are the only photos I have of it. The deck is on the tractor and won't be off until after the leaves are all gone so I won't have an opportunity for further photo's for quite a while.

Thanks....... that is what I needed. The only other thing that might have been better was if Kubota had supplied a template that you could lay on the deck, center punch and drill the holes. If GM could offer templates to mount mirrors and antennas in the 1950's till they became standard equipment on the cars, one has to wonder why Kubota doesn't print one on a page of the manual for the user. If anyone wants to use the excuse that they are meant to be installed by the dealer, the templates I speak of were for the car dealerships.

I recently acquired a used GCK60BX bagger and the baffle was not included.

Could someone please let me know if the baffle makes a marked difference in the performance of the bagger as it appears to be a ~$80 part.

Junkman bought that bagger/blower from me. I now use the mulch kit exclusively. (We old timers miss you JM. Hope you are well in your own corner of cyberspace.)

Yes, you need the baffle to correctly direct the airflow. Depending on what's more valuable to you however, time or money, you might experiment with no baffle, then begin trying to fabricate something similar from scratch that's similar size and shape. This also will depend on whether or not you have the materials, tools, and skill to fabricate metal parts. Good Luck!!

I had tried the bagger earlier in the year without the baffle and was affraid it would be beneficial.

I had thought about using the break at work, but since the leaves are beginning to fall, I will probably go ahead and pay to have it ready in a couple of days.
