The steering on my 2000 Kubota BX 22 is not responding properly. Gentle turns of the steering wheel do not turn the tractor. I have to apply a quick motion to the wheel to get it to respond. This makes adequate control difficult. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem. The hydraulic fluid level and quality is fine. Filter is new.

I will be interested in what kind of replies you get as I own one also. How many hours on your machine ? I have about 500 on mine and steering is fine so far. Is it new to you or used.

Check with your dealer, I believe they had a problem with the steering valve and there was a notice sent out.... not sure. I believe it was somewhat of a common problem for awhile.
