Hi, my kubota D905 engine fitted to my BX2200 (smiley) is in need of a rebuild. In order to get "smiley" running again in quick time, I am considering fitting a used D1005 or D1105 engine both of which develop their rated HP at 3000RPM as opposed to the D905 which develops it's rated HP at 3600rpm. All these engines share the same footprint for mounting.
My question is , will the D1005 & D1105 engines rev to 3600 rpm the same as the D905?
Has anyone upgraded their engines?
Any advice for the yes or no case?
