Kubota BX2200 Mid Mount Mower deck price?

I am thinking about ditching my MMM in favor of a FM. I have many hills and inclines that would be much easier to back up to with the FM than to get with the MMM. I do have some turns to make, but with the MMM, I practically need a push mower to get to waters edge to mow. Additionally, I cannot take my tractor in for service with the mower deck attached, my trailer is only wide...

So....what is a good price for my used Kubota 60" MMM?


I know I can get a FM for a few bucks, but what would my mid-mount cost, or is there a market for them?

Well, new they cost $1800 but condition and local demand are really going to drive the sale. Low hours and great condition might draw $1000 to $1200 but much more than that and I think most people are going to buy new. Average condition and some wear an tear I would guess at $800 to $900. This question has come up here before and I think the consensus was that there was some market for used decks so it might be worth a try.

As far as replacing it with an FM do you mean flail mower? If so there was a recent thread on that with the discussion centering around required hp and weight as it relates to the BX. I don't have need of a FM so I wasn't paying close attention but you might want to do some reading there before you make a decision on what to do.

I've seen in the DC CL 60" MMM for "small" kubotas with asking prices from $500 to $1,000. All in excellent condition.

Well, none of that is very exciting.
There is no real reason to sell for around $1,000.
I can pick up a used Finish Mower for around $500 to $600, and I would rather keep my MMM for when it's handy, I just need to learn how to take it on and off as needed...

Taking it off and on is a pain in the as! I would have used mine more than four times otherwise. It's really in the way when using the loader or in brush/woods etc. I was thinking of selling mine also but no way for 1000 ill just keep it.
