kubota bx2200 won"t start

Hello all,
This is my first time on this or any forum, please bear with me. I'm actually trying to help my father in law. He has a kubota bx2200 that stalled on him. We pulled the fuel line at the upper filter and were getting just dribbles of fuel. We replaced both the filter underneath and the filter on the side and that resolved the problem. We are getting good flow through the filters to the fuel injection pump. I read that you should loosen the lines at the injectors to bleed the system but we're not getting anything at the injectors. Does this mean the fuel injection pump is bad or are there other issues that i can check. This tractor isn't that old and my father in law has taken good care of it. Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated, thanks.

At first I was thinking a no crank situation... if it cranks over then most of the no start common issues will not pertain... like lever in the wrong position or a seat sensor stuck, etc...

When my BX stalled... I had snagged the rubber fuel line and pierced it... so the pump was sucking air and not properly pumping at pressure.

I have also had to blow a few pounds of compressed air through the line to the tank... seems the sending units can shed rust or it could have been dirty fuel... change of filters and good to go...

Maybe check the line to see if air is being introduced?

So far every problem I have had with my BX has been simple or operator error...

are you spinning the motor when checking for fuel at the injectors? fuel won't run out at injectors with out spinning the motor over

Thanks for the replies. I have checked all the fuel lines and all are good. I'm turning the motor over when I'm checking for fuel at the injectors. I get good flow through the fuel lines and new fuel filters right up to the fuel injection pump but can't get the fuel to the injectors. I don't know if that part of the system could be plugged or air locked, I'm stumped. I'm hoping it isn't the fuel injection pump itself.

Only a wild guess.

Isn't there an electric fuel cut off solenoid.

Vaguely remember reading about a similar problem and it turned out to be electrical... something about an ignition switch and a blown fuse.

I'm just grasping for straws here...

you can try a little air pressure in fuel tank while trying to bleed or put gas on a rag and hold over air intake to help get it started. make sure fuel soleniod is working first

Ultrarunner and whis, thank you, thank you, thank you! I just replaced the fuel solenoid and bled the injectors and the tractor is up and runnin! Thanks for the input.
