If it's like mine on my2370, it's a little tricky. I'm sure folks here have all the correct terminology but I'll do my best to describe:
The lower part of the hitch is attached to a rod that runs across the tractor frame. Flip up the large plate that is attached to the rod and remove the cotter pin from the silver pin. Knock or pull the silver pin out, this will allow you to lift that plate off of the rod.
Here's the not so obvious part: at the ends of the rod there are two collars, one of each side, they look like bushings, but they actually pull right out ( toward the center of the tractor) when you pull those collars out of the tractor frame you can now maneuver the rod out of the frame. Pictures would help I'm sure, but I'm REALLY comfy here on the sofa watching the game with a cold adult beverage.
