I currently use a Kubota 2763A plow with the subframe aka. the Quick Hitch. I recently ordered the BX2750D Snowthrower and PTO kit. I got a message from the dealer saying they want me to drop off the hitch so they can "install" the front PTO on it. Never seeing a complete installation before I don't know what they're talking about. Is there something that gets installed on the Quick Hitch, and if so, is it something I could do myself?

If it's like mine it is pretty simple. The attached photo shows the bearings in place with the shaft straight. Turns out the bearings pivot to allow a slight offset in the shaft. I didn't know that when I started so was concerned that the subframe had been made incorrectly. Having the shaft offset a little reduces the angles on the U joints.

Ok, thanks for the picture. That really shows what's going on. I pictured a driveshaft running the length of the tractor and that the large holes in the sub frame allowed for it to pass through. The large holes no doubt accommodate a bearing of some sort. Thanks!
