Kubota Corp and weight boxes vs loaded tires

/ Kubota Corp and weight boxes vs loaded tires #31
This is just a guess and another possibility that has been lurking in my mind for some time. My B21 manual has a section that shows the proper mix and amount of liquid to fill the rear tires and also says it is important to do so for certain applications. Then it says to remove the ballast when using the backhoe. Personally I find it rather ridiculous to think someone would remove all that liquid each time they put the backhoe on. In another thread a while back I remember someone saying that Kubota did not recommend loading the tires on an L series cab tractor. It makes me wonder if the backhoe and an L series cab raise the overall weight of the tractor too close to the required safety margin of the ROPS creating a potential corporate liability. Call me a skeptic but when Kubota tells me to load the tires and then remove it when using a backhoe on a tractor that was designed for a backhoe I think the legal team got involved. Cover thy corporate fanny whenever possible.
